    I'm watching CNN's coverage of the events in Ferguson, MO (the Michael Brown shooting), and it all reminds me of things I saw in Brooklyn in 1968. Nineteen sixty-freaking-eight. We've gone nowhere with these issues since then, apparently.

      That news is sad and upsetting but the main worries on my plate have to do with Putin and ISIS right now. Get ready for WW3 and another Iraq war..

        I just finished my interview for the school position. I thought it was for an office position, but I would actually be working with the students, helping those who are behind in certain subjects. I'm really excited at the idea of being able to help kids. That would be such a nice job. The interviewer really likes me. She even asked if she were to offer me the job, what would I say? (Yes, of course!) I've never had an interviewer ask me that before. She said I should have an answer on Monday. Oh, the weekend is going to take forever!

            This just in. The world sucks. News at 11.

            I have no problem being completely unaware of what's going on outside of my state, country or universe. Fuck the world's bad news. I have kitteh videos to watch.

                  Finally got my internet sorted out, and it's actually faster than my old internet... but only after everyone goes to sleep and before everyone goes to work.

                  My sleep schedule is actually an advantage for once!
                  Trust is knowing someone or something well enough to have a good idea of their motivations and character, for good or for ill. People often say trust when they mean faith.

                    I am thinking about finding a tea house in my area... Or at least somewhere not very far from our city.

                          I had a customer seriously ask if the mall office provided a discount on something for out of state customers...
