    QOTD, V.30 (V's version)

    Hopefully Medusa doesn't lynch me for this, but let's get this going again!

    In the past people were buried with the items they would need in the afterlife, what would you want buried with you so you could use it in the afterlife?

    A duffel bag with:

    A change of clothes
    A charged phone with certain files on it and a portable charger
    2 to three knives
    A specific amulet or two
    Certain hardcopy books, it'd take time for me to pick which ones
    A pistol and some ammo
    Food
    2 to 3 water bottles

      Yay, I'd been thinking about starting it again too.

      Ehm. A lot of books. Endless supply of ice cream. A computer with Wi-Fi and a Netflix subscription. My camera. I don't really know what else

          I'm going to assume one thing: that if I'm dead, I no longer will need to eat, sleep, or drink.

          I'd want to be buried with a bag, containing:
          - two gold coins to pay the ferryman (in the off-chance this happens to occur)
          - a long knife/short sword, and my bow and quiver
          - a large notebook and an assortment of pencils and ink to record my findings
          - a bottle of good mezcal, for bribes and for remembrance
          - some incense, and other offerings to the gods
          - something to remind me, that once, I was loved.

              I once cut my hand while peeling an orange. I cut myself on the peel... I don't even know how I managed that, but I did.

                I burned my finger trying to test the brake pads/metal disk thing right after I stopped driving (I know just enough car stuff to get myself in trouble). The whole tip of my finger was a blister...

                  Sprained ankle while playing basketball. stepped in a gopher hole next to the court. took about 4 weeks to get where I could walk without a cane.

                    I wanted to see what would happen if I melted a toothbrush with a lighter. The answer is: burning hot plastic will scar you for life.

                      Well, more accurately, trying to sit up to go to the bathroom from a sleeping position.


                      I kid you not, I rolled my ankle in bed, while in a prone position and, reacting to said rolled ankle (it was, unbeknownst to me, caught in sheets and I tried to yank it out), I developed back spasms in the thoracic region of my spine, fell out of bed, and slammed my face into a hardcover textbook had enough that (while not broken) every time I blew my nose for two weeks, it was bloody.

                      After finally making it to the bathroom and coming back to bed, along with turning the lights on to find and take 800 mg of ibuprophen and 500 mg quick release extra strength tylenol--none of which woke up my husband--I managed to go back to sleep.

                      In the morning, I had to have help to sit up and, after being unable to even get my bra and a shirt on (with assistance from my now contrite husband), I called in sick and laid in bed with copious amounts of pain killers for two days.

                            A lot... Like. I can't count them. I was in a chamber choir for 3 years and I still have every piece we performed memorized. Plus. Basically any song I hear and like I'll memorize. It's not something I do on purpose, it just kind of happens...
