If you ever get the chance to do DC, the monuments are awesome at night. Plus no one is there, lol...so not crowded. Of course that might be because its effing January in DC (way colder than norfolk). It was beautiful (the park servide does a walking tour on fri and sat nights, that i want to take when the kds get older).
