    I'm So Glad That EDP445 Is Cancelled Off The Internet

    For those of you who don't know who EDP445 is he used to be a famous popular Youtuber who rants about the Philadelphia Eagles Football. He was caught by the Predator Poachers (they're not nice and good people who are racist by the way.) EDP445 admits that he wants to hook up with a 13-year-old. Please keep in mind that he's 30 years old. He said that he was deleted all of his videos on his primary account and a few days later he was terminated and ban from Youtube. His whole internet career is ruined. He was banned from Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. He's all over the internet. He was on the local news, internet forum, articles, everywhere. So why am I happy about it. Because EDP445 is a disgusting, horrible human being that he deserved to be banned off the internet. People like him deserved to be in prison and let the prisoner finished him off. That why I'm so glad that he's canceled.

    Good, I'm glad he got banned. There's some pretty bizarre stuff on Youtube. Just yesterday, someone told me about "Soft White Underbelly" - the one about the Whittaker family in Odd, West Virginia. Apparently, they're inbred, and one guy kind of barks instead of talking.

          It sounds like it's a good thing he was canceled. But I find it interesting that your agree with him being canceled given your feelings on cancel culture.

            Will 99% of the time I think cancel culture is a bad idea but in his case, he deserved to cancel.

              I don't see stopping criminal activity as "cancel culture". I guess social media adds a new-ish dimension to things so more people are aware of the illegal activities in the first place, esp. this kind of thing.

                What about when it comes to harming children? That's something to consider canceling for that.

                  Alot to unpack here. Off the top of my head, how or why should or could a person deserve something that you think shouldn't be a thing at all? There's a strange disconnect in that all by itself no matter what the context.

                  As to the context, should we be concerned with or take action against people who harm children? Absolutely, but against people who have sexual ideations about children? Dodgy. Provided that their fantasies remain, well..fantasies - it may be distasteful, but legally actionable? Pre crime? I tend to think not.

                  As far as dealing with ideations that could or would lead to physical harm - a hot anti-woke anti-cancel culture take might be that we should distribute confiscated and restricted and staged pornography to those peoples who;s ideations could be satisfied in that way, people who, absent that,. may have no other option than to act out their fantasies.

                  Again, distasteful, disturbing, even....but probably more effective than precrime or cancellation - as a means to reduce actual harm to children. Cancellation is, at best, socio-economic leverage...but since the vast majority of people who abuse children are already not celebrities and are already very much poor.......

                    I don't think arresting someone is "cancelling", the way the word is currently used. For example, TV shows are cancelled when viewership gets low. They didn't do anything wrong or commit a crime. That's all I mean - the verbage is odd to me. "Banned" makes more sense.
