*I want to preface this by saying that this is from my journal. And I'm posting it here because you guys are my personal crowd sourcing. I always learn something from sharing what I'm going through with you. *

Results:
~blood pressure down from the 190 to the 149 over blah blah. Still high, but I'm going back on one of my meds, so should help it more.

Labwork:
~thyroid normal!
~tryglicerides high *but total cholesterol normal*(but she says that's due to diabetes being out of control (I've been off meds for like 3 months waiting for my insurance)
~kidney/liver functions are normal (with kidneys showing some signs of damage) but not enough to keep me from my meds now.
~Vitamin D deficiancy.
~A1c is a horrible 12.3! Omg, how am I not dead?

After talking with her, we have come up with a plan on my new meds regimen.
~Back on Metformin along with my Glipizide (we had to make sure I had normal kidney functions first)
~Back on Lisinipril (for blood pressure)
~Off hydrochlorothiazide (the 'water' pill)
~On a new Diabetes drug called Jardiance (it's taken once in the morning to help lose weight and pull sugar out of my kidneys). She says this and my met and Glip will get my sugars into the 140s. But this can cause regular uti and yeast infections. I was specifically warned it can cause dehydration. So I'm throwing in a jug of water with me at work daily. Not on my watch! No thank you.

I will now show you my drug regimen. For those new, it would overwhelm anyone. For those who are Diabetic...I'm a freaking mad scientist!

am pills: (usually 9am for pee time!)
1 Amlodipine
1 Clopidigrel
1/2 Isosorbide
1 Jurdiance
2 Lisinopril
1 Metoprolol
1 Glipizide

Before work meal: (usually 12:30pm)
1 metformin
1 Glipizide

Work meal: (usually 4:30-5)
1 metformin
1 Glipizide

After work dinner: (usually 10pm. Mind you I go to bed at like 2am, so this is really my normal 6pm meal if I was working regular hours)
1 metformin
1 Glipizide

pm pills: (usually 10pm as well)
1 aspirin
1 Metoprolol
1 Atorvastatin
1 Lisinipril

19 pills daily. (that's what I was taking before)
and one 50,000 units D3 once weekly pill for 12 weeks. (this one I'm worried about because I read bad reviews of leg pain and being sick.

I also need to pick up a Reli On Walmart blood testing kit (since the strips are the cheapest on the market) With the new meds, I really need to keep an eye on going low. And I need to start keeping quick acting glucose on me, and a can of coke in the house for emergencies.

Thankfully everything but one is an old med, so my body is already used to it. I haven't had any upset tummy. So I just need to change my water consumption and watch for the Vit d3 side effects as well.

I'm actually quite happy about all this. It's been a while without my meds and I really can tell the difference in my body. I really like this Endo. She knows her stuff and what mixes with each other. I also like that she lets me choose on certain things on my treatment. I have high hopes my 3 month check-up will show improvements!

Also, apparently follow-up visits are free!

So next time you wonder where Medusa is, she's probably tabulating pills! ::
