I have my hubby to thank for this because he's the one who initially griped about it but.. I strongly dislike words such as "staycation" and " framily."
I'm a lazy person by nature so I should like these types of shortcuts, right? ... I don't.

Lugubrious. What's the point in knowing a word you'll never use?
Every moment of a life is a horrible tragedy, a slapstick comedy, dark nihilism, golden illumination, or nothing at all; depending on how we write the story we tell ourselves.

Oopsy, just saw the "LEAST" word in the question. Please, let me re-answer the question.
The least favourite word for me is exam. I dislike them that much....

Swag, I guess. I saw a 40-something man wearing a "SWAG" t-shirt recently and wanted to punch him in the face.

                    Extended.

It has a bad tendency this week to mean that a simple, short workday has been doubled.
Life itself was a lightsaber in his hands; even in the face of treachery and death and hopes gone cold, he burned like a candle in the darkness. Like a star shining in the black eternity of space.

"But those men who know anything at all about the Light also know that there is a fierceness to its power, like the bare sword of the law, or the white burning of the sun." Suddenly his voice sounded to Will very strong, and very Welsh. "At the very heart, that is. Other things, like humanity, and mercy, and charity, that most good men hold more precious than all else, they do not come first for the Light. Oh, sometimes they are there; often, indeed. But in the very long run the concern of you people is with the absolute good, ahead of all else..."

Oh dear. Way too many to list!

Anything written in "txtspk". Some of those that were already mentioned, chiefly: YOLO, framily and shit like that.

Oh, and temperamental because I always forget to spell it with that first A in there, along with "eclectic" because of the extra C that so many people think it needs.

After having been in the military, I can honestly say that I hate that word. I particularly hate the actual outcome (and the word for it)--being voluntold.

But I'll use the word all day long...I more hate what it means.

Interesting. At more or less the same time you were posting that bit, I was away from the computer having a very similar discussion about volunteers.

Like, "I'm looking for volunteers. You, you, and you." & "I volunteer you!" And, "I need a volunteer and you're it." In the general KP duty or TAD sense.

Trust is knowing someone or something well enough to have a good idea of their motivations and character, for good or for ill. People often say trust when they mean faith.
