    RIP

I have never been across the way
Seen the desert and the birds
    You cut your hair short
Like a shush to an insult
    The world had been yelling
Since the day you were born
    Revolting with anger
While it smiled like it was cute
    That everything was shit.

Every moment of a life is a horrible tragedy, a slapstick comedy, dark nihilism, golden illumination, or nothing at all; depending on how we write the story we tell ourselves.

We are what we are. Nothing more, nothing less. There is good and evil among every kind of people. It's the evil among us who rule now. -Anne Bishop, Daughter of the Blood

I wondered if he could ever understand that it was a blessing, not a sin, to be graced with more than one love.
It could be complicated; of course it could be complicated. And it opened one up to the possibility of more pain and loss.
Still, it was a blessing I would never relinquish. Love, genuine love, was always a cause for joy.

I am honestly not sure I have one, since I so painfully have so little grace that I inevitably look like some combination of horrible things flailing about, no matter what style of dancing I am attempting. Even if I am alone, I get rather self-conscious about it.

Air instruments, though .... OH YES. Air drums and air keyboards ... those are MY THING. And I will do a lot of seat wiggling, too.

More accurate to say it is the worst movie I didn't really see, but I couldn't take any more and did not care how it ended -- the new release of The Lone Ranger. Oh it was bad, bad, bad. What strange experimental drugs were involved in that project?

Trust is knowing someone or something well enough to have a good idea of their motivations and character, for good or for ill. People often say trust when they mean faith.

Meeting at the SPCA, and finding out we won't be keeping the puppy. Both of us couldn't agree 100%, so I opted not to change someone's life by keeping him. But I wanted to. Because I love the little bud.
