Video games, and that it causes violence or "rots the brain." The first, no correlation whatsoever. The second, is entirely incorrect and the reverse has even been established by many studies.
Trust is knowing someone or something well enough to have a good idea of their motivations and character, for good or for ill. People often say trust when they mean faith.

That dungeons and dragons makes you crazy. I was crazy long before this became a hobby of mine...

But they were doughnuts of darkness. Evil damned doughnuts, tainted by the spawn of darkness.... Which could obviously only be redeemed by passing through the fiery inferno of my digestive tract.

That teachers only work 8 til 4 and get soooo much free time, and allll those holidays etc. Bullshit. I spent 11 out of 16 days of my holidays at school. And at least one day on the weekend. And I work 7.30-5 as a minimum. Not to mention I'm not just your kids baby sitter.

          RIP

I have never been across the way
Seen the desert and the birds
          You cut your hair short
Like a shush to an insult
          The world had been yelling
Since the day you were born
          Revolting with anger
While it smiled like it was cute
          That everything was shit.

It is not my favourite hobby. Some people tend to believe that I prefer to sit most of the time in front of my laptop. Actually I prefer reading.

That artists are mostly hippies and dopeheads and can't hold down a real job.

That working at a tool store means I know the intricacies of welding. YOU are wanting to weld, not me. My job is to sell it to you. It's not to give you a tutorial on welding. Go burn your own face off, thank you berry much.

Most people, unless they work at a hotel front desk, don't even know what a night auditor does. Many of my co-workers think I am there solely to get them in trouble. I think management thinks I do something vaguely IT-related.

What I actually do is bitch about my coworkers, supervisors, management & IT.

With a book and a piece of chalk, anybody can do it.
Every moment of a life is a horrible tragedy, a slapstick comedy, dark nihilism, golden illumination, or nothing at all; depending on how we write the story we tell ourselves.

Customers are human beings entitled to legal protection.

That stores should be open on holidays.

That there should not be a curfew enforced at gun point from sunset on Thanksgiving Day till noon the day after.
life itself was a lightsaber in his hands; even in the face of treachery and death and hopes gone cold, he burned like a candle in the darkness. Like a star shining in the black eternity of space.

"But those men who know anything at all about the Light also know that there is a fierceness to its power, like the bare sword of the law, or the white burning of the sun." Suddenly his voice sounded to Will very strong, and very Welsh. "At the very heart, that is. Other things, like humanity, and mercy, and charity, that most good men hold more precious than all else, they do not come first for the Light. Oh, sometimes they are there; often, indeed. But in the very long run the concern of you people is with the absolute good, ahead of all else..."
