Whining little bitches, that think that rules of decency and consideration don't apply to them, that think they don't have to listen to authorities, that display a sense of entitlement - and act up, all hurt and incredulous - that something might not be precisely the way they want it, crying 'the victim' at the same time they victimize others, and pretend to be untouchable, magnanimous and righteous, need to be the first ones lined up against the wall and shot.

Spoiled friggin brats, that grow up and have monsters for children that are even more socially retarded than their parents, seriously need culling.

What's worse... having the infinitely annoying wretches invade my home!

I wish I could call in an exterminator!

I agree with you there chain, except as you can see in my rant above, about my work having corrupt power, sometimes authorities do need to be questioned, when the power gets out of hand. this is why here in the US we have the right to form a militia. in our constitution it supports the ability to be able to overthrow our government in case it becomes so corrupt that it needs to be overthrown.

I gusess that depends on how you define authority.

When the neighbor's unruly child comes into my house, are my or my wife's rules to be questioned, and thus overthrown, if they aren't agreed to, by the little demon spawn?

My wife makes the rules. I enforce them. It's our house. The neighborhood rugrats don't run the show.

              ughh, rugrats

From a merchant perspective, uncontrolled rugrats can be truly evil and I still want to shoot a lot of parents who get bitchy if you yell at their rugrats for abusing your private property. 6 months ago, I'd have a longer bloodier rant but I'm no longer in the game business and I no longer have brats confusing pieces of a $500 giant chess display in order of ascending idiocy:

chairs, golf clubs, swords and f***ing soccer balls

so I'm not in my "sentence teenagers (and the f***-ups claiming to be their parents) to death by impalement and post the little hellspawn outside my store as object lessons" mood

agreed chain, I wasn't saying you're wrong, I'm just saying that its not always the case. in that instance, its definately the case... just please tell me the kids didn't just decide to enter your house, and that you have a kid they were there to play with? cause then its an issue of tresspassing =oP but yeah theres always the "obey my rules or leave my house" when its a personal residence...

in other news... my son is sick and decided he likes to remind me... constantly... for the last hour... my head hurts...

unfortunately that sense of entitlement goes well beyond the rug rat age--which is all the far more pathetic since rug rats are (by virtue of age, inexperience and immaturity) actually entitled to act like rug rats and it is the responsibility of the adult to contain their behavior...

when its the grown ups showing a complete disrespect for someone else's property and the authority they have over that place....well, then *that* is rant worthy...

(I'm on my phone... can't insert quotes and there's been several replies since I started fighting with my phone to post this... but that's a different rant. )

Sounds familiar, Masked. Pretty much the same thing. Total lack of respect for other people's things. If you say or do anything, the idiot/parent either claims rights are being violated... or since it's a child, exceptions must be made.

                        Bull. Shit.

And yeah, Masked. I'm the same way, if I don't have a personal stake in it, I don't get nearly as upset by the horseshit behavior. But like grabbing handfuls of my wife's Samhain display and exclaiming "mine"? That's going to get me involved. Right quick.

                        F+++ing entitlement, my ass.

scroll up, I have an old complaint against uncontrolled children that Chain reminded me of. I have a worse one against the parents who only remember that they're parents long enough to fight with me over banning their children from store property.

that's the point where they have to leave. I do offer some leeway to the young but there are distinct limits.

here in florida we have a LOT of hispanic population and a lot of them that come into my work usually speak little to no english and have anywhere between 4-6 children, of which they let run around and wreck up the place like Nixon's head.
