Which language? America doesn't have an official language.

And Social Security? Talk about giving up rights... It is right there in the name... it is SOCIALISM! The government takes money out of my paycheck to distribute to those who didn't prepare for retirement... Furthermore, the social security number, which was promised would never be used as an identification number, is exactly that, now. PLUS, as should be expected, from a program that was promised to be temporary, it is now, BROKE!

Social Security needs to be done away with. I'm sorry that people that have paid into it are being screwed, but, socialist systems have no place in a capitalist society. Perhaps we should figure out a way to pay the surviving beneficiaries... but, to be honest, I would be GLAD to forfeit my 15 years of contribution, to see this horrible piece of socialist theft go away.

And I will be deleting, not forwarding... and I feel no shame.

But, I should have added:

a) the Mexican flag in question was hung from a banister, not a flag pole.
b) the student in question took down the flag from the banister... didn't raise an American flag on a flagpole.
c) The student was suspended, not expelled.

I don't know if it is right that the student was suspended... but, lets get facts straight.

It is true that California deemed it illegal for students to wear American Flags on Cinco de Mayo.. that was in response to gang violence... not sure it was the right response... but it is true.

But... What happened to the poem at the base of the Statue of Liberty?:

I'm really tired of everyone around me pushing their issues onto me. I have enough to deal with right now with my mother being crazy and the knowledge that I have to basically choose what I'm going to do with the rest of my life within the next week or two when I haven't ever trully lived.

I would love to travel and to see things and to actually enjoy life, but apparently I can't do that until I'm too old to do any of the stuff I would like to do.

I also am peeved at my Mum for constantly referencing how I am going to burn in hell (she's a die hard baptist and she didn't take me coming out of the broom closet so well.)

Basically, I am just tired of not only trying to deal with my unhappiness but with other's as well.
