      The first two options are easier to define and enforce. I'm not looking for something that can become a weapon in the hands of any party so much as a way to discourage the stupidity we've seen by sticking an axe over everyone's head and saying, "Get your acts together or be replaced en masse." It would also arguably require a constitutional amendment to deliver the specific charge of treason since, unlike most crimes, I'm pretty sure the Constitution explicitly defines treason but I haven't looked recently. With that said, if I saw a practical way to spell out and enforce such an idea, I would not necessarily oppose it.

        Yup - I just checked. It doesn't fit the Constitutional definition of treason.

        But it looks like it to me.

        Maybe impeachment?

          They just ok'd a ONE WEEK bill to keep Homeland Security open.

          Does anyone not see the irony in this? Maybe use THAT kind of communication and compromise to do your damn jobs.

            Sounds like a plan to me. Actually, there-in lies another thing I'd love to see. Clearly spelled out conditions where a state can forcibly remove their senator or representative from office and procedures for them to do so.

              I have never understood why they can paste an extra bill on another one...I believe it should only be one bill at a time..there is something called a poison pill bill,where you could add a bill that negates the bill it is added onto,and that is pure BS.

                  2 of my audiobooks came up to borrow. One is zombies. Ones is a sequel to a most amazing french writer. I am overwhelmed with audiobooks. And I'm still on my Scurvy. Too much..toooooo muucccccccch. I must listen in my sleep. That's what I will do!

                        People are going nuts about those kinds of bullets they want to ban. Why would you need those? Do we (Americans) have the right to bear nuclear arms, too? Can I have a missile in my backyard if I want one, and can afford one? It's getting ridiculous. And we're getting 6" of snow and ice from tonight all through tomorrow and I WANT DAFFODILS!!!!!

                          Armor piercing = a single shot ruins your barrel. No need.
                          Frangible = safety ammo. Needed for self defense.
                          Hollow points = extra deadly. Need depends on what you shoot.
                          Soft nose = illegal for military use, mandatory for hunting.
                          Full metal jacket = less lethal. required for military use, illegal for hunting. Does it matter anybody else uses it?

                              I know what they are. My question as to needing them was on a social level. Some people are so caught up in protecting ONLY CERTAIN rights, it'd be funny if it wasn't sad.
