    One male and female are dead I believe. There is still a third person, detained. Suspects I mean. And some bomb threat as well. Cops say probably the third person calling it in. They found some suspicious package. (This is live as I type from the tv behind me)

    Oh one for sure explosive device found.

        No this isn't my real answer. I'm just tired of mass murder = gun debate. There are lots of arguments that will at least hold my attention regarding gun control but preventing massive casualties from a planned attack on an unsuspecting target isn't one of them. There are lots of ways to kill and if you have prep time then guns aren't actually spectacularly efficient compared to their competitors.

          They want soft targets that result in lots of civilian injuries and death. Military, government buildings, etc don't generate much media. If you look at most of the terrorist attacks over the years they are soft targets, cruise ships, air planes, public places, public events, etc not hard targets typically. When you do see military targets it's usually because those have become soft targets like the Marines in Tenn soft targets because no weapons allowed so little to no threat of them being stopped quickly. Even if you go back to the Oklahoma City Bombing as a federal building it didn't get much play it was all about the child care facility that was in the building that got people upset.

          Terrorist acts in a combat zone are different and usually tied to the combat role. Car bombs at check points type things or barracks attacks like we saw in Beruit or Kobar Towers.

            The didn't have their getaway planned very well, apparently. Thank goodness! It seems like most of these don't. They plan the event and then kind of fall apart. Like a lot of prison escapes - they stay in the area. And the Boston marathon guy who was found in someone's boat in their yard, nearby.

            The tin foil hatters, false flaggers, Obama haters, etc., are in full swing.

              OK, so one guy was there at a party, got mad, came back, armed to the teeth, with his wife or girlfriend, also armed up, and shot up the place. Somewhere along the line somebody planted bombs.

              Why does this not seem to make sense?

                Well.....Lemme tell you about San Bernardino. It's like the poorest biggest county in California. It's sorta full of....how do I say this nicely? You know people without teeth? The kind that fall out from smoking too much draino? That'd be San Bernardino.

                ah snap. Here we go. Dude was a mooslim but us citizen.

                Gonna wait to see if we get the guns are bad speech or the Trump sign them up for id cards speech.

                      I missed one of the London 7/7 tube bombs by 24 hours. British jets will now be bombing ISIS in Syria as well as Iraq, so who knows what will happen next?

                                I missed 9/11 because of the weather. I'd planned on taking an early train into the city, going up in the towers, and then meeting my bf for lunch. But it was such a nice day I thought I'd head down the shore instead, and do the city thing later in the month.
