Bleh. No offense, but I think cooked carrots are disgusting. I prefer most veggies raw.

Eeew...I'd never put cooked anything in a smoothie!

There are a couple veggies that I like steamed, baked, stir fried, or sauteed, but for the most part, I like them better raw too.

Celery is fine cooked. Spinach is even better cooked, because it takes out some of the bitterness.

As to vegi and fruit together,check out the V-8 v-fusion juice,both vegi and fruit together...actually pretty good.

What happened to people eating whole food? We're not babies and chewing is integral to the psychology of feeling full.

Granted, I'll eat pureed fruits at times, but that doesn't give me the same "baby food" feeling.

I prefer broths to that 'slop' style soup.

So yeah, tomatoes are botanically fruit, and frequently considered vegetables.
