I love the whole Cornetto Trilogy! We just bought Worlds End on DVD, rather than Blu-ray, so it would match the others in the trilogy. We watched it the first time as soon as we got it, then again with all the brothers at Christmas. I love snow!
I went to check for school cancellations for Monday (I'm a teacher if. If they get a snow day, I get one too, and I can sleep in), and it looks to me like pretty much every school in the state is closed for tomorrow. Including MINE!

On the other hand though, my daughter and her husband left early today for their home, which is way across state - the long way. They were gone about two hours, which would be about half the trip, when they called. The roads were so bad, they had to stop and stay at a motel for the night. At least I know that they're safe and off the road.Every moment of a life is a horrible tragedy, a slapstick comedy, dark nihilism, golden illumination, or nothing at all; depending on how we write the story we tell ourselves.

^^^ At your school, do snow days need to be made up? They don't, here, and I find that kinda shocking. They had 9 or 10 days off from the last storm, and are off tomorrow and probably a couple more from this one.sigpic

What most schools do is they have a certain amount of days that they can cancel before they have to be made up and factor that in to when school lets out and when they schedule stuff like "teacher work days" where students don't have to come in and whatnot, but it counts as a day off.
