Thanks, you guys! All that had to be done at the induction was to break my water. Six hours later, he was here, and although I did end up with an epidural (after the contractions get so close together and so long, if there are reasons you didn't want an epidural, they don't seem very important anymore, apparently), it was a really light one, so I could still feel everything going on, could still move my legs and everything... I'm pretty psyched about how it went (except the first nurse I had wasn't someone I'd wish on anyone - I spent a lot of time really pissed at her for interfering with me every ten minutes for no good reason)!

Recently, I had a dream wherein I was walking in Central Park, NY, holding hands with Donnie Wahlberg. I don't consciously have a crush on him, so I don't know where this came from, but it was very comforting and has remained with me.
