I made a lavendar wand! I've always wanted to make one, but never really known how. But I did it!

That after after a rather long week of work (55 hours so far, and I still have one more day to go), I've decided that tonight is "Pie Night." For dinner was a supreme pizza pie, and now desseret is in the oven. Cherry pie, that I will top with ice cream, and accompany with hot rum cider.

Friday is Pieday in our house. We always have meat (or not meat...) pies for lunch. Turns out hubby has been doing this for years lol.

So, I decided to sell all of my back issues of Vogue on eBay. I kept them for years because i loved them, but they are taking up shelf space and I'm moving soon. I'll never read them again. I did a little bit of digging and it seemed like old issues of Vogue (and only Vogue...fashion girls apparently love Vogue) actually sell reasonably well (like, better than Wii games). Turns out I wasn't wrong. All of them got bids and most of them sold for more than a German Vogue (all of mine are US Vogues, which cost about 12 Euros here new...I guess that's why people want them). That in itself made me happy.

But there was one issue I was pretty sad to give up. It had a photo shoot done in Berlin (in a US Edition!) that I really liked. The buyer ended up being in Berlin. I'm glad that a Berliner can appreciate it.

With all that's been happening in my life this last 2 months, I have some trouble to keep my thoughts organized enough to reply to threads intelligently. So I'd rather lurk. This past couple of months have been terribly harsh on me.

And as to not derail the thread: Something that makes me smile: Playing a concert. I played my first gig with my band last Saturday. It was amazing. Now it's confirmed that this is what I want to do with my life for the rest of it. Music is definitely what makes me whole.
