I've had this little Nyform Troll figurine for forever it seems, and tonight I finally got around to carving "WELCOME" into the little board it's holding. He now sits in a place of honor on my stairway, fully visible to anyone who walks in the door. When daylight permits, I'll post up a little picture of him.

Took advantage of a great deal on-line from Old Navy. Found a pair of Rockstar skinny jeans in black for $20! I went with a size 12 since those black ones run so big. And that was the special price. They are usually $35. Plus I had a $5 rewards and it came to a total with shipping to $23.98. Can't wait! I need to replenish my jeans supply!

Got my dog a doggy backpack (ordered online a few weeks ago) ...I can regret spending money all I want, but I own this now, and so I'm taking Jasper hiking tomorrow.

Lovely man came out today and fixed my poor computer.

Yesterday I (like a stupid) downloaded something I shouldn't have, immediately realised what I was doing and cancelled it, but not quickly enough to have avoided picking up some trojans and a nasty browser hijacker. Panic stations, immediately uninstalled the bogus program, ran multiple scans, cleaned things up, then Torey did some things when he got home, but we couldn't shift the browser hijacker. So pulled the plug on the 'net then had the professionals come out today... he said we'd done 80% of the work for him, congratulated me on what we'd managed to do so far and got rid of the hijacker. Cleaned up the computer in general and said it was in pretty good condition considering I'm a total noob about computers... raved about my hardware and generally did an awesome job at fixing everything.

I'm rather attached to my computer. And I dislike insidious parasites. I'm glad he's all fixed
