Your bed is something very personal to each person,and because you spend a LOT of your life in bed you deserve to be comfortable as much as possible.

I got an unexpected gift - a lovely Longchamps bag with a racehorse on it, and a small cosmetics bag/phone holder/etc. also with horses on it. When I first got involved in racing, our trainers lovely wife had these things. He passed away some years ago, she's remarried, and doesn't have her "track life" anymore. She could have sold this stuff - but she sent it to me. It's in immaculate condition, and I love it. She enclosed a letter about how she knows I love the horses so much, and how important that time was to me. I was always friendly to her but we weren't "buddy-buddy".

This really, really touched me.

My father. He's talking about making his recliner into a vehicle because of what he saw on World's Dumbest. He was talking about putting it up on 20" wheels so he could do the g-ling. I was laughing so hard my stomach was hurting. My brother-in-law is supposed to be 'helping' him.

Followed up my brand new comfy mattress with a brand new comfy pillow! I'm living like a queen up in here!

It seems that my mother neither approves of how I great my brother ("What's up, f***er?"), or me sucking down coke to belch louder ("oh, god, (Habbs!) That is dis--part of your lung came out!").

I'm totally going to be squishy and say it. One of the biggest highlights of my day is getting off work and seeing what everyone here has been up to.
