My teacher today told me I could actually steal her job doing commercial speaks not much chance, but she's pregnant, so they might need a substitute at some point (fingers crossed). She also invited me to come see her do a proper session some time but more importantly, I survived a full working day and I had fun.

It's a beautiful blustery windy day. I have two days off. So I'm heading off to ride my bike to the market. I'm going to be working the next (at least)4 days straight. So I'm going to buy my food and meal prep tomorrow. Going to do tupperware portion control containers of pasta salad and chopped salad for lunches. With a snack of some hummus (spicy version!) and pretzel crisps and those apple slices. I'm going to prep all the containers and have them lined up in the fridge. The spaghetti meal prep went great. So I thought with summer I'd take advantage of the good veggies and fruit.

No more chemotherapy I'm in the clear and don't need to finish my last two treatments! Less than nine months til I graduate and I start my internship at the end of May! So much to smile about today! Just had to share with you lovely people

The Cure is coming to Honolulu this summer. And I'm GOING! They're my favorite band, by the way. And it'll be my first concert ever. Unless you count my mother seeing Ozzy while I was in the womb, and the time Aerosmith played after the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle stage show at the state fair when I was five.

I am always amazed at the bands from the 80's still Touring. It might be more me being older and not keeping up with music like I used to.

I do remember the band,and as always I wonder how Mic Jagger keeps going at I think 68 or so.(make that 72) and Tina Turner is 76..(feeling really old right at the moment)

I am always amazed at the bands from the 80's still Touring.

AC/DC is a 70s band and is still going (although some dispute for not much longer)
If you love playing music why stop?

I was kind of off about Axyl Rose taking over with AC/DC..and I know age should not matter,but if what you do involves a lot of jumping and dancing on stage..being in your 70's "Might" make that a little harder..Gotta give them props for going the distance. I know,for me being 69,I could not keep that up.

Oh wow I hadn't heard about axyl, with Johnson's hearing going we're definitely looking towards the end times for dc :'C

And tbf sometimes it's hard even for me to keep up ;P

A LOT of AC/DC fans are really upset over This,and G&R was trying to make a comeback when Axyl up and split for AC/DC..He did not even show when they got inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame.

Mm, I could almost feel the anger (pretty justified though imo) emanating from my laptop when I googled the fiasco :S

I'd pay good money to see an Elvis/ACDC concert. I'd pay a lotta money to just see Elvis perform to be fair

Mm, I can see why I've never really found him where I am because no-one here really likes this kind of music. There's a pretty decent Jazz community though at uni though, which makes up for it

My two 70's crushes still tour. David Cassidy is 68, and Engelbert will be 80 next week.
