      FINALLY fixed my cartilage It hasn't been not pink (or purple on a bad day) for 3/4 of a year

        My boyfriend picked up the tickets for our Beltane break and the hotel is all booked up. This is going to be a looong four weeks. Now I need to find some cute sakuramochi in a pretty box for our picnic.. honestly, if I thought the bread would last, I'd have already made the sandwiches.
        夕方に急なにわか雨は｢夕立」と呼ばれるなら、なぜ朝ににわか雨は｢朝立ち」と呼ばれないの？ ＾＾If a sudden rain shower in the evening is referred to as an 'evening stand', then why isn't a shower in the morning called 'morning stand'?

          Shitaki mushrooms. Just saying the name makes me smile. Adding them to soups is a big cheezy grin. Knowing that I'm slowly whittling my meat intake down is also a plus.

            Whenever I hear shitake mushroom, I remember a sketch from The Catherine Tate Show where she misread it 'shit ache'. So I guess they make me smile too. Lol

                  I'm smiling because I get to leave in about thirty minutes and go to a service at the masjed! We visited the Islamic Center yesterday but it was just a tour of the empty building. We're going to take them up on their offer to visit today when the congregation is there!

                          The new dog I adopted on Saturday. I absolutely love her! She is the sweetest, most mellow and easygoing dog I've ever met. She's my new big baby. I named her Misa (pronounced ME-sah). Points to anyone who can guess where I got her name from.
