      I'm sad. I lost my keys. For keychains, I use my cat's old cat tags. I wanted to keep them forever. But now they are gone. And I haven't seen my partner in three months. And I thought I was going to enjoy having four days off work, but I haven't used them very well and it's half over. And I cut my hand on a butter knife this morning, in the webby bit between the thumb. And it's bleeding. And I'm supposed to go skiing today, but it's -33C and even the dog doesn't want to go outside. And no matter how much of my house I tidy, it's still dirty, and I don't understand. And I'm broke and my account was so overdrafted that after I deposited my paycheque, I had $1000 less than I started with in cheque form. And the dog is expensive. And he needs another bag of food soon. But I need to pay my rent. And I'm sad and lonely and I miss my keys, and I don't understand how I lost them, since they went from car, to pocket, to house, and then that's it, poof gone. Unless they fell out of my pocket, but I looked on the path, and don't see them, but it snowed, so maybe they are under the snow? Or maybe someone stole them. Who steals house keys?

      Sigh.

        H is here for the weekend. Is it weird that it feels like nothing has changed when he's here? We haven't seen each other in 3 weeks (and the visit 3 weeks ago sucked, because I had the flu and could barely get out of bed), but it feels like he never left.

            It's 3 am and I'm making my grocery shopping list. I've never been so content to make a list and know I can get whatever I actually want!

                          Could we also make it not in the rainforest? Damp sheets are a problem in rainforest treehouses. Plus food growing on the ground is a problem... floodplains and all that. Maybe somewhere more temperate?

                            I would suggest one of the deciduous forests a bit south of here but I can't imagine many still exist that are big enough to build a tree... well village it seems it's turning into.
                            Maybe some nice Hickory or Oak?

                              Surely one of those big redwood forests that I hear are in the US would do? Aren't those ancient redwoods enormous?

                              Of course... everyone DOES realise that the more people come along, the more we are NOT getting away from society, don't they? This could be a problem.

                                Thats why we have a forest. Lots of tree houses. Like they lived in in Dinotopia. I alwayd loved those pictures...

                                But yeah, no rain forest, ya know, like, mosquitoes.

                                And it could be like a commune. Maybe you can only come live with us if you've hungout at PF for 12 months.... that will keep some of the idiots out.
