Yup that's what they want. Creationism in the schools, etc. We already have "Right To Pray" in schools. I wanna import a few Muslim kids a-totin' they's prayin' rugs to come set a spell.

Today's local paper had a letter to the editor that has me SMH. The person says that America is 70% Christian, therefore a Christian country, and should rule by the Bible, no gays, no abortion, etc. I'm thinking my Ozark time is drawing to a close. Also on my mind - there was a house explosion in the town where I went to high school, and one of my classmates was killed. AND top sire t-bred Street Cry died. It's been a pretty deadly year.

Well america was pretty much made to get away from catholic church , so I think we should learn from that mistake religious ruled government is a horrible idea . And I'd like to think those numbers are off . Seems Christianity is slowly during in america giving way to atheism and paganism

My new store date has moved now from August to Sept 26th. And now it's sometime in November. We have a 'date' to do orientation on October 20th.

So I'm at my new store a bit longer. Every day someone is like 'are you still here?!'



Also. Thank Satan he stopped farting hot air up in here. It's finally cooling down. As in tomorrow it's supposed to only go to 90 and no more crappy humidity. Just hot wind. Like Hell. Yup. It's getting better! For Christmas we might even have like 80 degree weather. And I ain't even joking.

Well america was pretty much made to get away from catholic church , so I think we should learn from that mistake religious ruled government is a horrible idea .

The colony at Plymouth was founded to escape the Anglican Chruch, and Anglicans are Protestant. Also, they left because they were too uptight for a good chunk of Europe and no one wanted them. Maryland was created as a refuge for Catholics against the Anglican Church, Pennsylvania for the Quakers. Virginia was created by the Anglicans. Early America was incredibly religious, and that religion was enforced strongly by most colonial governments. Its actually far more complicated than that...but basically your premise here is incorrect.

Whenever a 'right to pray' etc comes up I always play the muslim card, because they would never let it happen.

It just makes me feel tired. There is no internal consistency to these arguments and the people do not even respond to scriptural evidence from their own chosen holy tome contrary to their opinions. It reminds me of being told over and over again by everyone from my parents to preachers to school teachers to church elders that it was in the Bible that races should not mix. When I visit down south it is hard not stumble across some one still saying it. They talk about Jesus' ministry ending the old law and establishing a new covenant, but where did Jesus say anything about gays or abortion? Nowhere. He talked a lot about helping the poor, but these same weenie heads will respond to calls for compassion with statements to the effect that "they brought it on themselves." Just wears me out.

Also, it's helpful to pick up a few hands-on texts (if you learn the same way I do anyway) with a basic sentence structure/grammatical/basic phrases guide, a verb dictionary, and an english <-> whatever language dictionary. You really need to be self-motivated.

I SHOULD FIND OUT TODAY IF I GET THIS JOB... aND MY DAUGHTER IS CHEWING ON MY NOSE.. MAKING IT HARD TO TYPE. Which is why all that was in caps... I don't wanna fix it.... Why can't she leave the keyboard alone? Silly child. I figure we both have to same cold so it really shouldn't matter if she chews on my nose.... I have a fondness for these little things [...] and I don't know why. And I'm nervous about getting this job. I hope I get it. It's the same thing I'm doing now only about $4/hr more within a couple months, provided I get my certification which shouldn't be a problem so long as they get me the material. Starts out about $2/hr more from the get go though so that's great anyway. Right now, I'm not sure how I'm going to afford car insurance... I've had about $10 left over each paycheck after bills and groceries and that's usually for my gas tank so... yeah. I really need that raise. Fingers crossed.
