Re: What Are You Thinking About?

That I've been using TOR's browser for a decent portion of the day and it's running pretty well or what I want. I've come across two things so far that don't function to the degree I want in it and one of them I don't honestly use often.
life itself was a lightsaber in his hands; even in the face of treachery and death and hopes gone cold, he burned like a candle in the darkness. Like a star shining in the black eternity of space.

      Yoda: Dark Rendezvous

"But those men who know anything at all about the Light also know that there is a fierceness to its power, like the bare sword of the law, or the white burning of the sun." Suddenly his voice sounded to Will very strong, and very Welsh. "At the very heart, that is. Other things, like humanity, and mercy, and charity, that most good men hold more precious than all else, they do not come first for the Light. Oh, sometimes they are there; often, indeed. But in the very long run the concern of you people is with the absolute good, ahead of all else..."

John Rowlands, The Grey King by Susan Cooper

"You come from the Lord Adam and the Lady Eve", said Aslan. "And that is both honour enough to erect the head of the poorest beggar, and shame enough to bow the shoulders of the greatest emperor on earth; be content."

Aslan, Prince Caspian by CS Lewis

Re: What Are You Thinking About?

I'm thinking that my line of credit has automatic payments that I forget about it, and because it's so high, I just had almost $300 withdrawed from my account, so now I get to live off of $100 for the next week and a half. Soooooo....guess my next gas bill is going on my credit card. And so much for buying groceries this week. Again.

I love this house and this town. But eff is it expensive.

I'm tired of paying $400/month in fuel alone. When I lived in Smithers, unless I went on roadtrips, I probably paid $400 a year in gas. And I'm tired of not being able to feed myself for less than $300/month, and I'm tired of my rent being $1100/month, especially when I'm only making $2200/month.

I guess that was kinda a rant. That's not even what I came here for. I forget what I came here for.

          Mostly art.

Dang, Vol, I'd be grumpy, too.

I was just thinking that rain makes the grass grow. Oh, look at it grow. So much to mow.

Re: What Are You Thinking About?

Grandparents are taking out my step brothers to dinner because they've been so good watching the house while our parents are on their honeymoon.
My sister and her fiance are staying with us to house sit because our parents didn't think my step brothers would listen to me or be responsible enough on their own.
Furthermore our grandparents know this and still chose to take them out to dinner, excluding the actual responsible people who're stopping them from partying and making them clean up after themselves.

I'd also like to tell my parents to stuff it because since they left the house has been cleaner, we've had better tasting food (and dinner every night, made from reworked leftovers no less), my brothers appear to be behaving better and no one has gotten stumbling drunk. Take your honeymoon for as long as you want, I'm not complaining.

Finally have a day off today for the first time in forever it seems. So the hubby and I spent the day down at the beach ^_^

Vaguely debating going to Applebees later tonight for their drink specials and half price appetizers again and having some alone time

It's 103 now. And as I posted on fb, my hand washed bras are drying quite nicely in the doorway of the other bedroom without the a/c. Only took about 30 minutes for my work shirt to dry!

The entire thing? Looks like one of a variety of mail fraud ploys.
