    Uh. Exact same 'threat' was called into New York public school system.

    I suspect LA were more sensitive to the threat because of the recent San Bernadino shootings. But the local authorities are in a no-win situation here, I mean if they dismiss something as a hoax and then it really does happen, what then?

        Schools generally empty no matter what on a bomb threat. They did that when I was in school and that was before all but the earliest major school shootings and we were far from any of the handful of shootings that had occurred. You don't get too many of them mainly because most kids who want off for a day figure that there are simpler ways that don't invoke jail time when they get caught.

          Drinking julmust and watching ghost investigation stuff on youtube. I've noticed I usually go straight to youtube to watch something if I want to relax (which is ridiculous because I don't have so much stuff to watch so I'm just wandering around there aimlessly), instead of reading a book or doing something "productive". (Don't get me wrong, youtube is great and the internet is great but my habit of always turning to the wonders of the web is bugs me a bit.)

            Well, I'm a licensed First Responder, now. Was feeling content earlier, now I don't really care. On to Med Term, then EMT, and so on.

                    Had an engagement impromptu dinner party tonight it was fun and exciting but to me it feels hollow. I can't feel happy, or sad it seems. Funny how some bad news spoils everything.

                      Finally sat down for a morning ritual and it went well until the the end when I managed to throw my candle on the floor. What an end for a ritual, scratching the stearin off the floor and wiping off all the sand. (The candle is in a bowl filled with fine sand.)

                      Typical.
                      But somehow so fitting.

                        Something smells weird in the stairwell. It's probably just someone using some poisonous smelling cleaning stuff... but I'm just gonna go for a long walk in the fresh air and try to not panic over the weird smell.

                              Started watching walking dead recently. My daughter woke me up around 330 am last night. I'm heading back to bed and see someone ambling down the street. Only took half a second to realize it was probably a drunk and definitely not a zombie, but it was enough for an adrinaline rush that kept me up for two hours... ugh.
