Quiche with homegrown duck eggs from Jemima and homegrown mixed kale (and not-homegrown bacon, onion, garlic, red capsicum and tomato) that I served with butter-sauteed homegrown asparagus. Followed by fruit salad and wattleseed icecream, none of which was homegrown, 'cos it's winter lol.

As soon as the weather warms up I'm gonna crack out the icecream churner and make some duck egg icecream with wattlseed and macadamias... because that's my favourite icecream flavour and I wanna try Jemima's eggs in icecream to see what it's like.

I am known far and wide for my sourdough. I began making sourdough as a way to make raised breads without buying yeast, baking soda or baking powder.
It is the ultimate survival food! as long as you have grain of any kind you can have sourdough.
My recipe for bread is two to three cups of active starter, a tablespoon of salt (for two loaves) and three to four cups of flour to make a moist, but not sticky dough. Bake at 350 to 400F for forty minutes.
