Generalized knowledge as I seek it for now I'm looking into if there's a way to bless one single edged dual sword and curse the other if not then a blessing for the both of em

LOL - it's generally considered tacky to curse one half of a dueling set...

                Welcome to the forum, Pyrothemaniac!
Every moment of a life is a horrible tragedy, a slapstick comedy, dark nihilism, golden illumination, or nothing at all; depending on how we write the story we tell ourselves.

                  Only if you get caught...

life itself was a lightsaber in his hands; even in the face of treachery and death and hopes gone cold, he burned like a candle in the darkness. Like a star shining in the black eternity of space.

                  Yoda: Dark Rendezvous

"But those men who know anything at all about the Light also know that there is a fierceness to its power, like the bare sword of the law, or the white burning of the sun." Suddenly his voice sounded to Will very strong, and very Welsh. "At the very heart, that is. Other things, like humanity, and mercy, and charity, that most good men hold more precious than all else, they do not come first for the Light. Oh, sometimes they are there; often, indeed. But in the very long run the concern of you people is with the absolute good, ahead of all else..."

                    Hello All,

I am pleased to have found this forum and I look forward to speaking with all of you.

I am a PhD student studying neurobiology.

I was raised christian, but that did not survive adolescence. I would consider myself agnostic in the traditional sense. I don't and can't meaningfully know about the existence of God(dess)(s). However I believe strongly in the value of life and and a spiritual practice, and have always valued a connection to nature and respect and wonder in the natural world. I have become interested in learning from the pagan community.

Neurobiology? That is so cool. If I were young enough, that's what I'd be studying today!

                      Welcome to the forum, Andrew!

Welcome. You could also ask questions in the open forum. Even if someone doesn't live next door, they may have used to or they may have gone through similar experiences.
