Re: What Not to Say to a Newbie
Oddly enough the Pagans are right on this one. It goes back to the Great Catholic Trolling of 1876. Many priests found an underground coven and felt exorcising them wasn't worth it. Instead these priests taught their parishioners the pentagram was Satanic and the only way to get rid of the Devil was to systematically harass people about it. The chaos and eventual telephone-esque game went from there. No one's really bothered to correct it, and if the fact it was a prank gone awry is acknowledged many perpetuate it at the expense of Pagans.
I had a question but I soon forgot it. Is this part of that Mercury Retrograde I hear so much about?
