Who understands you best in your life?

Any number of people, really. I suppose I could say my SO, since he can read my emotions the best, but I don't know that, that equates to understanding my Self.

Dragons. The riding kind. I really wanna ride a dragon.

If you could get a lifetime supply of something, what would it be?

Money... to me this is a no brainer. It doesn't fix everything, but if you don't have to worry about it, it gives you time to fix everything else. It doesn't have to be a huge amount of money either. A couple thousand a month for life would make my life soooo much better.

What is the most useful smartphone app and why?

I have this nutrition app that's been the most helpful for me. It helps me pay attention to what I'm eating.

Who is the most interesting person in history?

For now? Kennedy. Everyone's always going on about Kennedy. He must be the most interesting...

My personal fave? The Buddha.

What are healthy habits that you follow?

Sleeping right. Avoiding sugar (though I've been doing a crappy job of that for the last month or so and really need to get back on top of it)

At what point do you think it's time to give up on a relationship?

When you've made a concerted effort to fix it and you're both still unhappy, or one is still truly depressed, mainly due to the relationship.

What was the worst job you ever had?

Waitressing. My boss was Greek and a jerk. My mom finally made me quit (I was 16) because he called her a bitch over the phone when she called to say the other waitresses needed to quit harassing me to work for them cause they were hung over.

My husband, and I can't think of another soul who comes close. I think I am sort of QM for people in my life, very predictable outcomes but no idea what is happening in the box.

I'm already open about the things that matter to me, but are controversial. Like how art and literature shouldn't be censored, even in the case of things like rape and sexualization of minors.

Protecting children from exploitation and women from sexual assault is one thing; but it is not the role of law to criminalize thoughts, feelings, or inclinations. That's absurd. Pictures, words, and fantasies do not require protection.

Besides, who would want to live in a world where works of high art like Game of Thrones or Rape Academy 4: the Re-Rapening are illegal?

What would you stand for if you knew no one would judge you?

Public policy that emphasizes zero population growth (through taxes) and the containment of urban sprawl, the complete elimination of fossil fuel use, and the expansion of protection zones to include at least 30% of the terrestrial and marine environments in every biome with at least 10% of that a complete ban on people (with the exception of native indigenous peoples living traditional lifestyles).

No agricultural subsidies at all, except in times of drought or other natural disasters, to reimburse farmers with enough to cover their losses so they can recover for the next season. Subsidies for non-renewable resources. No subsidies to foreign-owned corporations that take our natural resources out of the country to process them and bring them back as finished products, for sale. No subsidies for big corporations. No subsidies (or government contracts) for any organization that isn't paying their employees a living wage and work them in safe conditions--and that includes overseas (honestly, I think we should ban any product made overseas by slave or sweatshop style labor without safety or environmental oversight and I think those corporations that buy or sell or import such products should be fined).

The government's job is to promote the general welfare of its citizens as individuals, not the corporate interests of a few. Subsidize a good education for all children, preK-undergraduate education...and in some limited cases (doctors, teachers, nurses, researchers, etc) graduate education in return for work in under-served areas. Subsidize health care, because healthy people make more money (which leads to more spending, more employment and more money).

If I could only pick one, it would be the creation of a Socialist state in my country through the establishment of an irrevocable right of all citizens to the democratic administration of the business institutions that they work in.

Legalizing drugs, gambling, nudity & prostitution. Lowering the drinking, gambling & whoring age to 18. If you can fight & die for your country, you can have fun, too.

Also, legalizing suicide as long as you aren't murdering anyone else in the process.

English as the Official Language of the United States. If you are a US citizen & want to speak your native language, do it in the privacy of your own home, not while gossiping in the breakroom. I want to know when my coworkers are talking crap about me without being the one who needs to learn 20 different languages & associated dialects. Offences punishable by having to wear an electronic collar that zaps the person who speaks anything other than recognizable English within so many feet of public space.

Mandatory (but reversible) birth control for people receiving any sort of public aid. Welfare, food stamps, subsidized health care, etc. & so forth.

If you want to have a child who will need intensive medical care for the rest of its life, you have to pay for its care out of pocket. Same for old people who cannot survive without intensive medical care. If you want to fight the laws of nature, you gotta pay.

Instead of getting tax breaks for having kids, parents pay more taxes for creating a population burden.
