Thinking about it, I am afraid it was my grandfather. He was not very nice and he drank (apparently, I didn't know it at the time.) Which was why he was always so mad. I was always trying to get his approval, I think that may even have been the reason I joined the military... Never managed approval, but I did learn some useful things from the man.... A lot of things I used to be scared of, I have actually overcome. Like needles. I got all tatted up and now I'm not frightened at all. I'm scared of getting another heart attack. Yup. And of going blind. And of being homeless. I should stop now.Satan is my spirit animal

So...I have this chronic, irrational, obsessionary fear of driving off a bridge with the kids in the car. Before I had kids, I had the same fear--almost like a movie on repeat when I'm stressed out (anyone that is familiar with OCD should know what I'm talking about) that plays and plays... That the car would go over the bridge, and to get unstuck, I'd have to play out the scenario of what to do. Which was fine...I sort of trained myself to minimize it.
