"Leftover" soup. It might sound strange, but I decided to throw all the leftovers my mom gave me from dinner yesterday into a pot with some chicken broth, and added a few things from my own fridge.

Grilled steak
Baked chicken
Frozen mixes veggies
Gravy
Stuffing
Mashed potatoes

It actually came out quite delicious!

Pepperoni pizza. Not hte take out kind, but the store bought, frozen kind. Still good, though

Well, it's not for dinner tonight, but it will be for tomorrow. As a thank you to my parents for helping me out with a whole bunch of things with my house, I've invited them over for dinner. I'll be making:

* Bone-in pork chops, slow cooked for four hours after marinating in diced green apples, onions, cumin, curry, garlic salt, black pepper, a special seasoning blend from the Rendezvous restaurant in Memphis TN, and hard cider. Shortly before being served, the meat itself will be removed, and the rest turned into an apple chutney.
* Green beans, sauteed in garlic, butter, sea salt, and black pepper
* Butternut squash, cubed and baked with butter and brown sugar
* A simple garden salad with crumbled bacon and hardboiled egg

I've got plenty of food, so who's coming for dinner?

I made sushi!!! I've never made it before, but I'm very happy with it!

One is sundried tomato and avocado, the other is satay tofu, carrot and avocado.
