This is the first time in about a week I've had time to even come on here! And only because I'm on my phone while swallowing my breakfast. Gosh... uni is keeping me run off my feet! I've been back for just over a week and I'm already in dire need of vacation. Probably doesn't help that I have to take painkillers for my back to sit through a class.

I've already said this to the person in question, but I'm still mad, so: dude, attacking a political opinion and a news network that you agree with does not equal attacking you as a person. You very BLATANTLY AND UNDESERVINGLY attacked me a few months ago and I ended contact with you. After you apologized, I let you back into your life. I am very sorry that your girlfriend is battling cancer (which, I didn't know about, by the way), but disagreeing with your opinion and how you're presenting it is not "petty revenge" for what you did to me. Get over yourself.

No reflection on the BDSM community,but for me the whole hype over "50 shades of grey" is a bit much as far as a movie..from what I read the writer is a bit like a high school junior taking a shot at writing pron....Not reading the book,or seeing the movie,so if you do,and find it a good read or watch,let me know.

50 Shades of Grey has nothing to do with the BDSM scene. It was written by someone who deliberately did no research on the scene or D/s relationships. A good chunk of us that are actually in the BDSM scene actively dislike it. Including me.

There's tons of bad writing and bad "romance" out there. I hate this series because it's creepy, promotes stalking and abuse, and does so under the guise of BDSM.

Every freakin radio station here is doing nothing but talking about the damn movie. I have read tons and tons of smut it's not that big of a deal. I'm so tired of hearing about it. I swear you would think it's the first smut novel ever wrote or its the first rated R movie with sexual content... yeah I like to call them smut. It makes me giggle.

Top notch writing alright

I couldn't finish it. I don't even think I made it 1/3 of the way through. I almost never give up on books. It has to be REALLY bad for me to give up completely. Usually if I lose interest, I'll pick it up later. Not with that one, though. It was SO bad.

Naturally, I have no interest in the movie. The only reason I'd consider watching it is because I've always thought the lead actor was hot. Actually, that's probably why I -won't- see it. I don't want to ruin him.

Even without the messages I hate, it's not even good smut. It's boring, badly-written, repetitive, and clearly written by someone who has NO idea what an actual BDSM scene is like.
