          Yeh,we got scotus,and potus,and flotus...and right now we have a pivotal moment in history....I think the US is starting to grow up...

          Have to add this,because of some of the negative blow back. Man some of these are bad losers...one justice seems to have lost his ability to speak rational words.

                  This was Justice Scalia's reaction on Obama Care. Yup jiggery-pokery is a word I guess. Man this is gonna be an interesting second half of this year.

                  “The Court’s next bit of interpretive jiggery-pokery involves other parts of the Act that purportedly presuppose the availability of tax credits on both federal and state Exchanges.”

                  And also that he called the Court’s upholding of Obamacare the result of “somersaults of statutory interpretation.”

                    Given that part of the logic in upholding Obamacare was

                    The government does not have the authority to require individuals to puchase a product. It merely has the authority to fine them if they don't.

                    I fully agree with Scalia accusing Obamacare of involving somersaults of interpretation. I'm less liable to agree with him here though.

                            PS: I sold that bike trainer REAAAAALLY cheap. It cost me $350 new. It's still in pretty good condition. But nobody was buying it until I dropped the price.

                                Facepalm moment. I made a second account on lang8 so I could access it from work (don't remember the password for my first account), but also I can post from my mobile without looking things up and don't need to worry about people who might judge me (ie. fellow learners). I have friends on both accounts though, and I just accidentally sent one a message from the wrong account.

                                Kinda wish I'd at least used the same name. Oops.
                                夕方に急なにわか雨は｢夕立」と呼ばれるなら、なぜ朝ににわか雨は｢朝立ち」と呼ばれないの？ ＾＾If a sudden rain shower in the evening is referred to as an 'evening stand', then why isn't a shower in the morning called 'morning stand'?
