    The rationale behind "eat a handful of nuts" (or whatever else) before your meal is based on how long it takes for your brain to tell you body its eating and initialize the satiety response.

      What harmless prank can I pull on April 1st at work. Like changing all the computer backgrounds to cats or a funny pictures of actors.

        Upload the sysinternals blue screen screensaver everywhere.

        This only works if your coworkers are pretty laid back. Otherwise having everyone walk in and believing their machines are boot looping into a blue screen of death might end badly.

            It does require care in audience, I'll grant but it'd be hillarious to pull if you have coworkers who won't lynch you and a boss that won't fire you over it.

                I could only do that in the main rooms and nurses computers but if I did that in the treatment room then they wouldn't be that happy. I may do that at my mothers house.

                  Finally finished moving into our new house. But I had to carry 3 couch pieces, 4 dressers, a vanity, 2 tv's, 6 tables, a bed, pieces of the frame, cabinets, 30 boxes of books, 5 book shelves and all the boxes of my objects from my altars, lamps, 4 guitars, 3 amplifiers, all of our clothing (she has a lot of clothing) 2 arm chairs... Well you get the picture. I had to carry all of this down a flight of stairs at the old house, which has railing that you have to lift everything over, into a uhaul. Then, unpack the uhaul, bringing everything up a spiral staircase. My whole body feels like it's about to collapse. I didn't know we had so much stuff. I think this is my work out for the year.. Or maybe the next several. Ow.

                          My district manager called. Told me he was coming over so I could do our store's price change certification. (I had studied the 30 page book early last week). He's like yeah I guess you will be responsible to see if your store passes the test. It's a pass or fail with 4 wrong answers allowed. I'm like yeah, no stress( freaking out). He's like I'll be there in 15 minutes.

                          I will not lie. I crammed the whole book in 15 minutes again. I mean memorizing every small thing. He's like so you want to do the test now or..NOW!

                          I passed. The store passed.

                          I called my boss and told him. He's like I'm going to give you all the sugar you want!


                          I told him( as usual when it pertains to our district manager)

                              Haven't had much time to be online as late, leaving me very little time to add the finishing touches to my store. Hopefully, this weekend will lend me some sequential opportunity.
