    I used to bike 32 miles everyday for work, but today, biking only 14 has left me drained and tired. What happened??

      I'm finally coming to terms with the idea of giving up the vast majority of my possessions and living out of a suitcase again.

        My commute is only 2 miles in 20 minutes. And I'm tired! Course it's slightly inclined.

          Um. I took my bandage off. My finger has a line of purple all the way around it.

              Nope. The demarcation was there before I put it on. The line is where the box smashed me to the edge of the stool. I had to wrap it with gauze because customers somehow came in contact with my hand at the register ALL DAY! So I took off the bandage to let it breathe. It's just a general all around purple and it's like taut like a grape. Also I have Neosporin I've been putting on the top where the skin flap is kicking it. Oddly I have no feeling on the dead piece of skin. I'm fixing for that piece to just fall off I guess. I'm off now till Monday night. Should help.

                  Think I'm finally letting go of holding on to some things that held me back.
                  And some old thought patterns & such, that used to work for me really well are working again Time to 'get used to' and embrace change and discomfort if it means growth.

                      Amazingly, my tablet behaved for an entire post and didn't kick me off halfway through.

                      And now it's bedtime. My neice and nephew are here overnight, which means no sleep in for me tomorrow. Le sigh.

                          I would embrace the "New" tech right now,if it were not for all the glitches I keep seeing or reading about(lot of money for a watch that might not do what they say it does)

                              I watched our mod act so callous toward a customer that she may have pushed the person back into a relapse with their alcoholism (don't ask me how I know the customer was in recovery).

                              It took myself and two of my coworkers to bring their mood back around to not feeling like they were attacked and cast aside, and after we closed I overheard the mod persist that the customer was rude, irresponsible, and altogether a "lesser" person than herself. Just because the person was in an anxious state and was having a tough time communicating with people. Or I really should say, just because this mod has been in a severe b*tch mood (including all forms of passive aggressive, controlling, petty hostility), for the past 2 days.

                              I can't believe she's an mod. I can't believe she's been able to hold a job working with other people where she's supposed to be practicing good communication, customer service, etc... I'm just... dumbfounded.

                              I talked to the customer for a bit after the encounter and I think they left in a better mentality but... We really shouldn't have to be cleaning up such bad messes of the person who is supposed to be leading us.
